Roy Wragth served on Active Duty in the U.S. Navy as an Aviation Machinist Mate (AD1), specializing in H-60 helicopters. During his service, he supported multiple deployments tied to Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation New Dawn.

He also served as a Navy instructor and earned the Master Training Specialist (MTS) qualification, recognizing advanced capability in instruction, curriculum development, and mentorship.


Aerospace & Autonomous Systems

After military service, Roy worked as an Engineering Technician V at NASA, supporting systems testing and research tied to mobility and aerospace applications.

He later transitioned to Waymo, Google’s autonomous vehicle division, where he held leadership roles in Technical Operations. There, he managed field validation, system testing, and technician teams supporting the development of self-driving vehicle platforms.

These experiences shaped his approach to diagnostics, validation, and performance under load.

At Wragth Motorsports, Roy leads a high-performance automotive shop known for building and validating powerful street and track vehicles across GM, Ford, and Mopar platforms.
